Arriving at 800 in a bit of a whirl!

I had a day in the Breamish Valley on a photo workshop. The weather forecast looked good but sadly we had very flat light for most of the day. That always sets me looking for landscapes within landscapes.

The leaves in the burn below Linhope Spout looked as though they were floating in the rapidly flowing water. I tried a variety of exposures to see if I could show the leaves well, but also show the patterns created by the water. This is the result.

Straight from workshop to party at T and M's in Haltwhistle. All the usual suspects present and a very happy buzz everywhere. It was lovely to be there with so many friends.

800th blip today - can't believe it. The addiction is now very strong!!
