Although I'm disappointed with my photographs, I very much enjoyed today. There were several puffins on the sea, close to one of the smaller islands, but they seemed almost impossible to photograph from the boat. The birds weren’t particularly close and the boat was rolling about all over the place. It was a shame that the sea wasn’t a little calmer. Falling backwards with a camera and lens is a little scary.

We set sail from Ventry Harbour at 10 am, arriving at Great Blasket at approximately 11 am. The boat picked us back up at 2 pm and took us on a tour of the smaller islands before sailing back.

I noticed a lot of hares on the main island but my shots of them aren't brilliant either.
