I visit the west coast of Ireland every year and I'm only just beginning to wonder whether I should learn the language. Too easy not to bother when others speak English. I'm not going back until August 2018 so I've plenty of time to get on with it.

I arrived in Ireland on the 2nd of June in glorious sunshine. When I left yesterday (17th June),  it was all blue sky and sunshine. The weather in between those dates was nothing of the sort! I think this is a variation of Murphy’s Law, namely, Sod’s Law. Not to worry, I had a great holiday despite the weather.

Today has been mostly about shopping and washing. Great weather for it.
