Blacksmith's House
Today I visited Leineperi, one of the first places where the Industrial Revolution started off in Finland. Iron ore was processed there as early as the late 18th Century. Even today there's a blacksmith there, using traditional methods to forge utensils and decorations. (Location on map)
In the Extra shot you see the famous Vuojoki mansion in Eurajoki, not far from another kind of a "temple", the Olkiluoto Nuclear Power Plant. This beauty was built in 1836, having been designed by the architect Engel, who also drew up most of the old center of Helsinki.
Cats'll be back tomorrow.
