favorite

This really is my favorite either for a wild flower or a  cultivar. We have a big clump that just keeps spreading and I love it.
We were invited to go and visit #4 in hospital today but it was a long drive for Bert and it is as well we declined because #3 made a much delayed departure this morning, not leaving until 11:30 am. In addition we had quite a storm last night with 2.3 inches of rain and a power outage from 2 this morning until about 8:30am. Given that we were late to bed last night with the travelers' arrival, I have been pretty tired today and am probably better off at home!
