Likely lads

Guid Nychburris (Good Neighbours) in Dumfries - that's our town's summer festival, and today is the last day, when there is a grand parade of floats and fancy dress, followed by a Beating the Retreat to mark the end of the week's celebrations.

Samba Sisters always have a float, and this year we had an Inca theme and played a new tune which we had learned specially for the occasion. We were joined on the float by four of our menfolk (husbands, boyfriend, nephew) who were looking very smart. Here they are in front of the Loreburn Hall.

The good weather had brought out crowds, who lined the route and were very appreciative :-)
