I just love these critters! Even their name is fantastic - Banded Demoiselle Damselfly. I was up and about before it got too warm.

I picked up my other half from Crewe railway station at lunchtime. He's just walked Lady Anne's Way was catching the train back from Penrith. The walk of 100 miles, started in Skipton and finished in Penrith.

We've had a quiet afternoon sitting in the garden, with his feet in a bucket of cold water! And it was lovely to eat Al Fresco this evening.
