Happy Father's Day

Wake up at 12:15am. Tried and failed to get the kids back to sleep and finally relented around 1:30am, deciding to get up and quietly play games. By 4am we were starving so we toddled off to the only place that was open, McDonald's.

By 6am the kids were tiring so we put them back to bed again. Thankfully we all slept until about 10:30am so at least we managed a decent sleep combined.

Before meeting our friends Kato, Jonathan and Silas, we grabbed lunch at a local hippie cafe. We played around in the hot sun for a few hours before finally walking home through the storm.

Miraculously the kids made it through to 8:30pm. Hopefully they make it through the night tonight.
