Shirts And Skins

The world's most popular sport played by two teams of locals on an overcast Friday morning. Nothing fancy, not even any uniforms, but a spirited contest none-the-less. I liked the gritty feel of this local pitch, with its backdrop of local homes and less than stellar field conditions. This is one of those situations where my patience deserted me. It would have been a better photo if the action was at the near end of the field, but the "shirts" team was far superior and never let the ball pass midfield and I had errands to run, so a couple quick snaps and I was on my way.
