although the youngster is in extra. These darlings live in the village and came down the drive to see us after the school fair duck race in the river.

The fair was well attended and great fun, even more so when John - I never win anything - won a bottle of Jura in the raffle and later I won a bottle Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. As I was choosing I won again but thought it prudent to leave that one. It's always a pleasure to meet and chat to our village neighbours,

The collage extra shows the auctioneer selling off a B and B night, great hilarity, villagers on the little bridge after the duck race (was chatting and didn't get to see the race) and a few children out on the bank chasing ducks, I think a few escaped.
