Welcome to Waddesdon

Another very hot day and the crowds poured into Waddesdon Manor for day 2 of the Feast.  I heard that yesterday there were well over 4,000 and today seemed even busier! The grounds are very spacious and people were everywhere - often seeking shade in the trees.  

This year there was a nice touch of the Welcome arch garlanded with flowers on the drive close to where visitors alight from the bus.  I expect the event will have been a big success overall.

One of the entertainment acts was a quartet of brass singers/players. They seemed very popular.
