is the magic number....
This is how many days I've not had the following:
booze
chocolate
crisps or any potato related product
bread or any wheat related product
fun or any fun related product...
Nah. It's not been that bad actually. I am owning this detox/diet/healthy eating plan. So far. I am sure I will end up rugby tackling an old lady eating a bourbon cream by the end of it, but at THIS side, all is good!
In the book that I'm using (God. For anybody reading this that doesn't know me - this is SO NOT LIKE ME) I have been advised to get a 'diet-buddy' (boak) to help me through.
After a co-incidental chat with my mum about The Book it turns out she'd bought it too (although I have 8 million stone to lose where mum has not much) and I invited her - rather generously I think - to be my diet buddy. She said yes.
I knew immediately it was going to be unbalanced when she told me she still hadn't read the book because she was still reading Stephen King. Still, I didn't want to judge so I left it at that. I emailed her yesterday to give her my update (how ravishingly interesting that email must have been for her!) and she replied thus (and I quote):
Mum: I have started a diet of sorts. Emmmmmmm, I have given up my morning scone and I'm drinking all my Christmas booze up. When it's gone, it's gone!
Wow. I've definitely picked the right diet buddy, huh? I fully expect her to arrive at my door on Sunday carrying a huge pail of creamy mash potatoes and a big red spoon, waving it around in my face going 'come on Abiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii just the one bucket'.
Nah. She's alright my old lady.
Talking of my mummy - she took a photo today specifically for Blip. Can you urge her to hurry up and open a blip account before the internet is made obsolete and a new version comes along?
Thank ya.
