Silly mistake

Well I've made a few of those.  Such as buying ironing starch instead of fabric softner, even though if you look the pictures on the packaging it gives you a clue.    However, my funniest silly mistake happened many years ago.  There was a lovely bakery close to where I worked, they made fabulous salads on french sticks.   They also produced fabulous pies, fruit and savoury.  I decided to get a family sized apple and blackberry pie for after dinner.  I put the pie to heat.   The smell should have been a clue, but I still made the custard.  You guessed it, I actually purchased a meat pie.  It was took many years for hubby to let me foreget that howler.
