Hot, hot, hot

Another hot day and a new high - 35.9 in the shade at the back of my shed which according to a world temperature chart I looked at is hotter than Karachi, Nassau and Las Vegas. We had to be out of the house again for a while so spent a happy hour sitting in the garden of the pub in Odell; only Coke, of course, as I was driving. Now doing our best to keep the house cool; I don't know if watermelon is any good for the heart but it does look a bit heart-like, and I'm sure it isn't doing me any harm!
