Another scorcher, particularly in our office. Sooo glad I'm not back there again until Friday when it's forecast to be cooler! To make matters worse, this evening our water supply has been lost. It couldn't have happened on a much worse day of the year and when I called the water company they had no idea what the problem was at that point. They did, however, say that they'd had quite a few reports of the problem over quite a wide area and this, presumably, would explain the panic buying of bottled water than quickly ensued in Sainsbury's, as Mr DA discovered when he kindly went down there to get some for us and the neighbours - he managed to get the last few bottles! Anyway, hopefully the problem will be resolved soon...
