Feathered friend

Any idea what bird this little brown and blue feather comes from? I found it on the lawn.

Another very hot day. Fortunately for Basil he went to the groomer today so at least he's feeling a bit cooler now (except for his head which he wouldn't let her do).

We got our water supply back by bedtime yesterday but then it went again this evening. Something to do with the booster at Greatham, apparently. The good news is, it's back on again as I type...for now anyway.
