Another Scorcher!

When I set off for work this morning the car thermometer said it was 28 degrees and that was at 9.30am!  It's been hot in work as I'm on the top floor and we don't have air conditioning, so at lunch time I met Anne and we went to the beach and I had a paddle.  I really wish I could have gone in for a swim as the sea was really calm - tomorrow morning I might, instead of going to David Lloyd for my swim.

When I got home I opened up the Palace, and the thermometer said it was almost 43 degrees in there - when I stepped back outside, it actually felt cool!  I got my swimming costume on and sat in the 'pool' to cool off, it was lovely!  Then we had dinner outside again, and sat out until 9pm - long may this weather continue!
