Another day of largely staying out of the sun and keeping as cool as possible. The garden still seems to be doing okay in the heatwave. Soon after Mum and Dad moved in thirteen years ago, I gave them two jasmine plants and a rambling rose - all just tiny sticks. Dad planted them next to the then very bare wooden archway through to the end of the garden. Look at them now!
