A day out on Lochanagar

I'm still on holiday this week so took the opportunity to gander up Lochnagar with a pal as the weather looked promising . 
I was first up here in 1972 and have climbed this Munro on countess occasions  - although generally not in such great weather as today . Its still my favourite hill and we are very fortunate to have it on our doorstep.  . 
We went up the tourist route and came back down via another top , the Dubh Loch and then Loch Muick . We saw some ravens , a baby ptarmigan , moutain hares , many deer , geese, and a red squirrel - plus lots of wild orchids . A great day out .
