Quiz Night.

The annual village Quiz Night took place this evening, and because my WI won it last year, we had to organise it this year. We have had a good time planning over the last few months, working out eight rounds of ten questions, getting volunteer markers, getting raffle prizes and all the other minute details that have to be organised. I had worked on one of the rounds and done a lot of the typing.
On the evening, eighteen teams from various clubs and organisations in the village came to enjoy a fiercely competitive quiz. There were marathon rounds and Jokers to add spice to the scoreboard. The tennis club won so they will have to organise it next year. One of the other WIs was bottom so they will have to do the catering.
It is still very hot, so all the doors and windows were open in our lovely old Barn Hall.
