Lathyrus Odoratus

Working down at the allotment this morning - picking tayberries, loganberries, gooseberries and blackcurrants. I'usually exhibit some of my soft fruit in the village horticultural show in the third week of July. This year it looks like everything is going to have been harvested long before then - the strawberries are already over. At least we are still some way off peak sweet pea production although I did cut another 50 stems today from row one (of six).
