Machair

Machair is the name given to the Hebridean grasslands full of wild flowers. It really looked lovely while we were away (despite the weather).

We are now back home and found our back lawn had been transformed into Machair,  There are no rare orchids but the overall effect is very similar.

I thought I should record it before I get the mower out

PS It's just started raining so I can't mow it.  Oh dear, how sad!
