An Inspiration
A babysitting day, with a twist, today. Not only did I have to get myself out of the house at 7 a.m. and down to Doncaster, I also had to drag poor Finlay with me as he is staying at our daughters for the weekend whilst we are away. I also had to load a toolbox and some timber to carry out emergency repairs to our granddaughter’s cot which broke yesterday!
Cot frame was repaired within a couple of hours - but I had to wait until our daughter got up late afternoon to go back upstairs to reassemble it! Then I had to take the dogs out for a walk - as son-in-law doesn’t arrive home until daughter sets out to work, so he can’t take them out.
Whilst out I spotted one of the ‘rustic’ benches around the nature area (former pit head) and had just been looking at hobbs' blip taken with his phone. As I didn’t have my backpack and cameras with me, I felt (desperate for a blip) inspired to have a go with my phone. So here is my effort. I have left the colour in because of the lichen and am quite amazed at the amount of detail that has come out of the shadow in the hole.
