Gustav Holst

With Tom safely ensconced at Wolverhampton University we decided to take a few days off and stay at our chalet in Shaldon, South Devon.

We stopped off at Cheltenham to visit the Holst Birthplace Museum. This is based in the Regency house he was born in and lived for the first few years of his life. The picture shows his portrait plus the piano on which he worked and composed some of his works including The Planets.
