Double Yellow Rose

These lovely yellow blooms cover our arbour. The rose water mixed with saffron is used in writing special charms and a rose worn as an amulet will ward off the evil eye and bring happiness. Still warm today but quite windy and cloudy. Rather nice to cool down a bit after the heatwave.
