Cambridge Market.

Cambridge market has thrived since the middle ages. Boats used to sail from King's Lynn all the way here before the Fens were drained, bringing fish, wine, salt, grain and luxury goods. People from all around would come to trade, gossip and see justice done as the market place was also the site of the gaol, the stocks, public whippings and beheadings. Today's market is very popular with a varied selection of goods on offer. I like to buy locally grown fruit and veg here . This colourful stall was packed with lots of nice things.
