Oh yes - this is me - circa 1943 - used to be quite respectable in those days...

So far as I know, everything I'm wearing was made by my mother.

We lived in an old farmhouse in east Essex. At the bottom of our garden there was an airfield where Spitfires would be scrambled to take on swarms of Messerschmitts.
