Water Bombs

Near record highs for heat today. It was 40degC at our house. Luckily the grandparents took the kids to the beach and so didn't melt, which part of our road actually did. That's right, the extreme heat caused the tar seal on a patch of the road to melt and lift. Quite exciting times...

the water ballons lasted 2 minutes!

~I had been waiting 2 1/2 years for summer weather like this :)
