Sunset at the Beach

Firstly, a big thank you for all your comments, stars and hearts for Louis yesterday - he hit the spotlight again :-)

It's been another wonderful day at Le Touquet. The weather hasn't been as good as yesterday - It was cloudy for most of the day although warm, but by this afternoon the sun finally came out.

This year is the centenary of Le Touquet and there has been all sorts of things going on. There were classic cars, bands and a lot of buildings have been open to the public including the light house. I wanted to go up it as I bet the view was fantastic, but the queue was really long and it would have been a 40 minute wait!

So instead we wandered back into town and came across a jazz band playing outside a bar, so we sat and had a drink and enjoyed the ambiance.

Before going out tonight we watched the sun setting over the sea which was pretty spectacular. I took lots of photos until it finally disappeared, but I particularly like this one as you can see a couple of horses on the beach lit up by the sun.

Anyway, its time for bed as we have a very early start in the morning to get back to Brussels in time for Alan to start work - fingers crossed the traffic's not too bad!
