Uninspired

I went into town this morning as I needed to do a bit of shopping.

On the way in I was admiring the mountains covered in snow against a stunning blue sky.  I decided that, bright as it was, 5 deg C was too cold to stop on the side of the road to photograph the scene, so I'd stop on my way home instead.

Of course on my way home the sky had changed and it was all washed out.  I took a random drive instead.  It was just one of those days where nothing inspired me to stop so in desperation I went down to the river.  This is taken looking back up river below the Old Manse bridge.  Ho hum.

I had also intended going in to work today as the jobs are piling up and I really need to get on top of things before I head off on holiday in less than a fortnight.  But in the end I just couldn't be bothered.   Which means I'll have to put in a few extra hours tomorrow!
