The rain in Spain

Campbell's last end of year school show.

This year we were treated to a selection of pieces from the drama students exam performances; a couple of scenes from Blood Brothers; line dancing to Footloose; a brave first venture into Shakespeare by the younger students tackling a midsummer nights dream, a superb performance of the audition scene from Billy Elliot (singing and ballet) and an excellent rendition of 'flash, bang, wallop...' .

The senior students had been asked to perform several scenes from Pygmalion. Totally new to them, with only a week to rehearse and having heard cries of 'It's going to be awful', I wasn't sure what to expect. They were superb! Of course the highlight for me was seeing Campbell pull off a brilliant Professor Higgins. He loved playing the part and his only regret is they didn't have the chance to do the whole play.

Great fun, huge admiration that they manage to pull this off in just a week. Well done everyone involved!
