Silver A and Silver B in Pardubice

Thank you very much for your comments, extra info, and interest in the Czech war history.
Yesterday we visited the crypt in which seven Czech and Slovak heroes found their death before gestapo could arrest and kill them for assassinating Heydrich.

Today we took a guided walk of our city which played an important role in preparations of the whole heroic act. They were part of the operations Silver A and Silver B, some of them later also in operation Anthropoid itself. Three parachutist were hiding here and spying on Nazis.
We walked the city centre and together with guided in costumes we remembered their bravery, bravery of our inhabitants who were willing to help them and who were in the end tortured and murdered by Nazis after Heydrich died.

We are Czechs! We shall never surrender! Never!
