Barcelona Butterflies

Low battery, so will come back with words!
Back with words:  Bb and I both did some online work this morning and I was also on breakfast duty for Rebecca and Samantha (Chinese girls, but those names are their chosen 'English' names).  They went off to start their day by going to Sants Station to book their train tickets for tomorrow and to exchange cash in the station.  45 mins they were back, very hot looking and with it being a public holiday they hadn't been able to book their train tickets in advance using their student cards (a bit strange!) and were put off getting cash by the low exchange rate on offer.  This left them with just 20 euros between them and  although they assured me they could use their cards to pay for things I lent them some money so that at least they wouldn't feel so exposed.  However, I think they were exhausted with their two long previous sightseeing days that when we walked out in the afternoon they were still relaxing in the house - one in the bedroom and the other listening to music in our upstairs front room.  They seemed quite at home.   Bb and I  ended up having in a late lunch/early dinner of a few tapas in Monchos on Travessera de Garcia, where we've had our Christmas lunch before and Bb's mum's also eaten there.  It's a huge place, part of a chain, but it usually does what it does well.  Today though we felt the food and service was a bit below the norm.   We left just in time to buy our tickets online for a film: The Zookeeper's Wife.  Both enjoyed it, despite the unhappy subject matter, but I felt it could have been a little shorter.  Back home to find the girls already in bed, having been to the beach earlier.

My blip's part of a shop window display with the reflections of the building opposite.
