Referendum Reflections

Back blip

Our friends Ann and Alistair arrived safely from Scotland last night and at popular request we had a bite to eat in our local Frankfurter, after a welcome glass of cava at home.  We stayed up late enough last night to hear sufficient results coming in on the referendum and so went to bed worried, but still hopeful for a remain result.  Not to be.  All a bit shellshocked this morning and it was a weary, worried foursome at breakfast this morning. For Bb and I, it was an effort to get any real work done today for checking in on the news coming in.  Ann and Alistair took themselves off to Gracia and then at night treated us to a lovely dinner in a local restaurant, eating al fresco on a square.  For the record, we went to La Tertulia.  We had promised each other not to mention the R word till the desserts.
