From 0900 until 1000 hours this morning I had online Adobe Connect training as the Open University are switching over to this online system. This was the first of the three, one-hour slots and there is a lot of “homework” practice to do before the next one.
Then we went to get my new spectacles, from Haverhill Specsavers, which is where the DVLA require you to go for your eye test once you are a certain age. Saffron Walden and Bishop’s Stortford are nearer, but they insist that we go to Haverhill as the other two Specsavers do not have the necessary equipment. We had an early lunch, had a look round the market and purchased a few things.
Then we went to Saffron Walden to collect our prescriptions from Boots. When I drove into the car park it was fuller than normal. We then realised that there was an event going on in the market square and on the common. Today’s picture is one of the many of the events for armed forced day.
The weather was hot although there was a breeze, so I chose this picture of a skier, to help everyone cool down!
