Waterloo girls only race!

We had a choice of a 3km, 6km or a 9km run, so we chose the 3km. I had been looking forward to this race with my daughter for so long. It was lovely running with her although she talked and talked and talked, and stopped to stroke dogs, the whole way! I told her that it didn't matter how slow we went just as long as she enjoyed it. She was wearing her watch (and was using the stopwatch function) and I was surprised when she suddenly picked the pace up towards the end as she realised that she might get under 20 minutes - which she did comfortably! Good girl!
