Bee first aid

I knew I'd get a photo of a bee eventually! Ok so this is somewhat cheating but we did save it's life.
We gave it sugar and honey water after we found it on the window sill. Initially I thought it was dead but as I went to move it, it moved a leg. So we gave it some bee first aid and it worked! It gave us all the chance to see a bee's tongue too! I had never before seen a bee unfurl it's proboscis and stick out it's tongue! I was also surprised by how much it drank. About 10 minutes later it flew off in the garden. Success! And a happy lesson for the kids too. :-)
