Something new

So we're now home after 3 weeks in la Belle France. Beautiful as ever..  generous people., lovely  scenery and great food. Visited chateau du  pape  clement (Bordeaux)  on way back. Taken by surprise by this white peacock... First time I've ever seen one. Made me think, Just because I'd never seen a white peacock doesn't  mean it  doesn't exist. It just hadn't existed in my experience. I just wish that here, in the place I call home, people could learn that some things need to be seen in this light. That is, that truth exists in many places, in many experiences and it is arrogant to claim that only my experience really matters. The world is full of other narratives.. We need to learn to live with this tension.
