It is a pleasure to stand and observe talent at work as I did when I came across this female artist. The level of concentration was intense. More time was spent on observing and checking than commiting strokes to the paper.
The artist wanted to be true to the subject, yet submitted that view to her own prism, her lens on the world. The finished piece wasn't a photograph but was, nonetheless, a true and accurate capture of that moment.
I really wish I spend more time on observing, reflecting that perceiving and acting! More time listening less time speaking.
The finished piece would show the benefits of such a measured approach to life.
