Beamish Photo Studio

A year ago (I can't believe it's a whole year!) we visited Beamish Open-Air Museum when friends from America were visiting. The entry tickets allow uinlimited further entries for 12 months. We'd been intending to go back again for ages, and this week we realised that the tickets expired today. So off we went!

We had a great day and I took lots of photos (no surprise there!). I'll put some on flickr soon and post the link on a future blip. But in the meantime I thought this shot was appropriate: they have an olde worlde photo studio and will take photos of visitors in period dress for a fee. We declined on this occasion but had the chance to capture the procedure when some other visitors were being photographed.

I couldn't resist the temptation to do another sepia monochrome effect.
