Sunlit river
This afternoon bore out the predictions of the BBC weather app - we were so late going for a brisk walk up the Glen Massan road that we fell into the two hour time slot predicted to give us sunny spells without any rain; the only rain that fell was three minutes before we returned to the car. The River Massan looked particularly pleasant here, flowing brown in the sunlight along the back of Benmore Gardens just before the Golden Gates. Further up we could hear the burn roaring down the gorge, but the trees are so abundantly leafy just now that we'd have had to scramble down to see it.
I believe tomorrow may also have some sun in it ...
