Lovely Day

Had a phone call this morning, "Can you come in for your cataract op at 7.30 tomorrow?" Sadly, I can't, there are a million things happening over the next few weeks that wouldn't be possible if I had the op now. I thought that would be it and I'd be back on the waiting list but no, she had other options and I'm now booked in for 18th July. That's great, school holidays will be under way so I won't going anywhere then.

It turned into a lovely afternoon so I slipped up the road to this wheat field with a nice blue sky beyond. Just a quick jaunt because we're back rehearsing for the next gig in a few weeks time.
