Cabbage White
Went out for some relaxation earlier. First stop was Oare Marshes but it was very busy - nowhere to park - so I went round to Elmley Marshes which is usually quiet and didn't disappoint. Saw a marsh harrier up close and an egret and there were flocks of waders moving around the marshes - too far away to identify and probably moved along by the presence of the raptor.
For all that the photo I'm happiest with is this butterfly on a nettle in gardens of the RSPB office.
Lovely day; lots of silence and blue skies and time to think.
