Souvenirs.

Back home.
Cold.
Wet.
Heating on.
The best kind of souvenirs to bring back from a holiday in France, which is now just a happy memory.
We knew it would feel colder, but not this cold!
Piles of washing waiting for a fine day so that I can hang it outside.
I have put a collage on extras of some of the courses  we had on Saturday night, at La Marande.
First photo of the two of us holding a tiny cornet the chef sent with the aperitifs. ( kirs) Not sure what it was but tasted so good. I do know that there was a tiny escargot at the bottom.
The largest photo is Mr C's starter. The middle one at the bottom was the "amuse bouche". The other was my starter, and the other two photos  our desserts.. I was too busy eating and forgot to take photos of the main course , cheese course, and the plate of tiny " mignardise" we had with the coffee.
May print one off and frame it to hang up in the kitchen.
Will be nice to remind us of happy times spent in the sun.
We have really had a wonderful holiday. ( promise not to complain about the heat ever again!)
