In the summer of 1980 my sister took me to Irthlingborough Civic Hall to give blood for the first time.

That one simple event has triggered 51 more over the past 37 years.

That's not a huge number in that many years. These days men can donate 3 times a year so in theory in about 16 years I'll reach my 100th!

It's a simple, quick and easy thing to do. If you can then why not give it a try?:-)

(Oh, and the bruise isn't normally as noticeable as this - I didn't press the pad on properly :-) )
