Steely blue
I should have been surveying again today, but we've had intermittent rain, so I've been at home and have finally had a chance to catch up with identifications, entering records and blipping! Not quite got around to the housework yet...
This is an EB, which involved a quick dash across the patio in the rain, to pick the most attractive flower within easy reach. I can't actually remember which species of Eryngium this is, but all of them are very attractive. This variety has particularly intensely steely-blue stems and bracts and seems to thrive on neglect - my kind of flower!
