Late light

This photo is from an after-dinner walk. I went later than usual and sat through an interesting dinner with my mom before we headed out. Interesting because of one other resident at the table who seemed intent on taking the table cloth off while everyone was having their soup, because my mom kept jumping up to ask if she could take her dinner to go, because the two community dogs came over to greet Longshanks and had to bark a few times. All that plus spills, inaudible muttering, mysterious comings and goings of one resident.  My mom was either saying she didn't want to eat, wasn't hungry, didn't like it, wanted to eat later, actually eating, or giving her food to the largest community dog.  All told, not the easiest time for me to be there. I gotta admire the staff who deal with all that on a daily basis!

The walk was pleasant, and when we got back they were playing bingo, so that got my mom right into the groove.
