Going back

After over 8 years as a First Responder I am handing the jacket back.
3 patients already dead when I arrived.
1 patient actually having a heart attack (but thankfully not a cardiac arrest) while I was there.
About 70 or 80 call-outs.
Average of over 30 hours a week on call.
Two thank you cards.
Many cases of indigestion, panic and just feeling crap.
Never used the AED and got someone back.
Think I've done my share.
