Bog Cotton

A  bit of a walk with Ollie through the fields behind the houses.  The orchids seem to be over and now there is lady's smock and bog cotton in flower.  The fields used to be cultivated, but are now mostly left wild, full of brambles and rosa rugosa, reeds and rough grass.  A haven for birds and wildlife, and perfect for a peaceful wander . . . .
