Odd job man

Mike was busy today repainting the front of the house.  It really takes a battering from the wind, rain and salt spray, and was starting to look a bit "distressed" and not in an arty sort of way!

In the afternoon we all gathered to celebrate the life of a friend's husband, who died a few weeks ago.  It was a lovely occasion with all their friends, some folk I hadn't seen for years, all there to support her.  
As usual at these occasions when you all take something to eat, there was a huge amount of food.  Lots left over, which we divvied up and took home, ending up with enough to share with our neighbours!
